Illegale basejump uit Canadese skilift

A Youtube video posted on February 11 showing a man jumping out of Whistler's Peak 2 Peak Gondola. The tri-cable gondola is the world's longest free span between towers at 1.88 miles and maxes out at 1,430 feet above the ground. We don't know much about this crazy dude except that he titled his video "McConkey Reborn." While it's unlikely that this base jumper has the high-flying skills of famed freeskier/base jumper/naked skier Shane McConkey, the illegal jump was a repeat of McConkey's 2008 jump when he collaborated with Red Bull and Whistler/Blackcomb to celebrate the gondola's opening. A big difference? McConkey's jump didn't damage any of Whistler's pricey gondola equipment. It's unlikely that this anonymous "McConkey Reborn" can say the same.
