The Dutch highway A270 is the official test site for cooperative driving. On-board units in the vehicle communicatie with roadsite units and a back office. This allows for reality testing of cooperative systems and their impact on improving traffic flow and road safety. Imagine driving in a 'road train' completely automatically.
